Joe's first radio memory was at age 7 waiting to get out of Sunday mass in Sandwich, Illinois so he could listen to Casey Casem's countdown. He went to school at UW-Eau Claire, where he started as a business major. However, Joe soon realized a tie was required to fit into that crowd. Perhaps the most appealing thing to Joe about his work now, a wrinkled shirt and sweatpants are just fine for his "After Hours."
